The Gear Strap is made from laser cut laminated Cordura, with a plastic tab sewn in the end, which acts a closure. They are available in two lengths; short or long. The short strap is suitable for pouches that mount to two rows of PALS, while the long strap is used for pouches mounting to three rows. Installation is simple; the user attaches the strap to the top row of webbing at the back of the pouch by passing the running end through the slot cut on the opposite end, effectively creating a hitch. After that, the pouch is woven onto the PALS/Molle platform and the running end of the strap with the plastic tab is inserted back under the last row of webbing on the pouch. These are sold individually and are available in a multitude of colours to match your gear.
